Casual classes for this week!
Today (Monday) 5:15-6pm
Pole-Mania is a casual pole dancing workout class for all levels. You can put in the tricks you are learning each week in your course (or other tricks you know) into the routine that is made up on the spot by the instructors. Or if you don’t know any tricks yet, the instructor can show you something quick and basic to pick up, or fill in with more dance steps. The main aim here is to jump in and give it a go. Don’t worry if you don’t pick up the exact steps or get the trick right – it’s all about getting your body moving. Different song styles each week ensure you won’t get bored.
Pole Newbies is an introductory pole class open only to those who haven’t done pole before and students in our Level 1 courses – you’ll learn a couple of basic moves and get an idea of what it’s all about! Book online at www.thepolegym.com/product-category/bris-city-book-trial-class/

Mixed Trix is a casual tricks class where you work on perfecting the tricks you learn in your courses and a few variations and fresh ideas for those tricks. Sometimes we will partner up and work on doubles pole tricks (for example when two people climb the same pole and have to balance together!). Sometimes we have spinning pole trix casual as well. We advise students to finish a Level 1 course before starting this casual so you have some tricks to play with – so it’s Level 2+ (but new and Level 1 students have access to the Pole Newbies casual which also focuses on pole tricks).

Pole-Sculpt is combination of traditional exercise sets (such as push-ups, squats, crunches, etc) mixed in with pole lifts and climbs for an all over body workout. This is a great way to get fit, to keep fit – and to increase the strength you need for the pole tricks in your course. Choose the level you want to work at and then push yourself for the whole class.
Acro & Circus is an introduction into basic acrobatic elements and balance poses, usually performed in pairs or as a group. Handstand beginner basics drills, exercises and conditioning to help with early handstand development and progression. Great for students who are new or learning handstands, who want to try some paired partner balance and for something fun and different!
Lucky Dip Casual this week will be a special Pole Mania, the last class being taught by our studio owner, Amy, before she is off for a long break after knee surgery. Come join in the fun! Mania description above, same as Monday Mania. Song will be to Selena Gomez - "Bad Liar"
All casuals are $15 and no booking required, except for Pole Newbies, which is $10 and booking available online.
If coming to casual as your first visit to the studio, please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early so we can show you where to get changed and so you can complete your sign-in form.
