World Class Winter Workshops – July 27
World-Class Winter Workshops are landing at The Pole Gym! Sunday 27 July we’re cranking up the heat with two big names: Natasha Wang and Kirby Myers! Spots are limited. Grab any single session for $90 or level up with two for $175.

This workshop will take foundational moves like Pole Sit, Figurehead, Stargazer and Jasmine, and embellish them with accents, grip variations and other movement techniques. While being able to invert is not required, students should have basic knowledge of beginner upright moves. Workshop may incorporate spin & static pole. Level: Beginner-Intermediate.

Learn Natasha Wang’s signature movement style, which incorporates grip variations, unusual contact points, and lots of twisty, thready, pretzel-y shapes and combos. Get ready to tie yourself into knots! Workshop may incorporate spin & static pole. Level: Intermediate-Advanced.
Kirby Myers – Cirque-seasoned aerialist and “human praying mantis”

Come learn a different way to move in the air. Tippy Hoop is an outrageously fun apparatus that has something for everyone regardless of whether your style is dynamic, fluid, strength-based or spin focused! Tippy Hoop is rigged on a horizontal axis, meaning it can tip & flip allowing for dynamic moves, tricks and sequences. Prerequisites: invert & strong knee hang.

Unlock strength, creativity, and flow in this dynamic Straps Loops Workshop: a unique fusion of aerial straps & sling-based movement. Explore foundational skills, conditioning drills, & creative sequencing using the loops as traditional straps & as soft supports. Perfect for aerialists, movers, & curious beginners looking to build upper body strength, develop spatial awareness, & experiment with a fresh approach to aerial play.

Combining accents, sass and just a touch of speed, come and learn this routine with Casey to work on confidence and coordinating hardstyle and flow movements / styles. This routine will build speed into a routine in a way that is not intimidating and shows you that ANYONE can most fast with flow. Boots and kneepads required. Connecting the floor to the pole is one of the more challenging components of choreo and routine confidence – so let’s build on this in basework sequences and tricks! Work on stronger and more Book Here! basework to get those core movements down pat. Level – jamilla, split grip needed, at least 3 months of heel work required. Boots and kneepads needed.
